 Hico's Nothin' But Time is located in a 100 year old building 50 feet off Main Street in Hico, Texas. Main Street and the esplanade offer the Billy the Kid Museum, Peppermint Park, and a variety of shops and restaurants.
The stairway leading to this loft apartment, located above a barber shop, features stucco walls and original beaded boards with signatures and dates in hearts from around 1912. Complimentary country breakfasts, including French toast and eggs from the innkeepers' hen house, are delivered to the apartment each morning. The apartment is stocked with homemade treats. The innkeepers reside four blocks away across an old bridge that is now for pedestrian use only. Their outdoor picnic area, barbecue grill and campfire pit along a creek filled with crawdads are available for guests' use. Pets are not allowed at this property.
The apartment is decorated in early Western decor with an antique rope bed and pillowtop mattress. The original structured walls, made of stucco, rocks and mud chinking, convey the ambience of a cowboy hotel. The loft includes a mini fridge, microwave oven, coffeemaker and a pump that pumps water into a small sink.
