Hotel A.S.Lisboa, an independent three-star hotel, was opened in 1993. The hotel is located close to the Alameda underground station and in a shopping area with direct access to the historical and financial districts, as well as to the airport and Parque das Nacoes. In front of the green Alameda D. Afonso Henriques park, you can see the Fonte Luminosa fountain. On the opposite side you will find the Technical University of Lisbon, the Instituto Superior Tecnico. Both are landmarks of an architectural conception called Estado Novo or Portugues Suave. Alameda with its green spaces is a pleasant and lovely area in the heart of Lisbon. All the rooms overlook the green Alameda Dom Afonso Henriques park. The upper floors offer breathtaking views to Lisbon and the Tagus River. The spacious rooms are nice and cosy.
